Promotion Policy
Michael Job Matriculation Higher Secondary School is affiliated with the Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu. We follow rules governing promotions as prescribed by affiliated with the Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu. The promotion of students is based on continuous assessment, academic performance, attendance, and overall conduct during the academic year.
- Students must satisfy the minimum academic requirements prescribed by the school and the respective education board.
- Regular attendance is essential for promotion to the next class.
- Promotion is based on performance in periodic assessments, term examinations, assignments, projects, and practical activities (where applicable).
- Students are expected to maintain good discipline and comply with the school's rules and regulations.
- The decision of the Promotion Committee/School Management regarding promotion is final.
Withdrawal Policy
A student may be withdrawn from the school under the following circumstances:
- Withdrawal requested by the parent/guardian for personal reasons.
- Transfer of the family to another location.
- Non-payment of school fees as per the school's fee policy.
- Repeated absence without prior information or valid reason.
- Serious misconduct or violation of school rules and regulations.
Withdrawl Procedure
- A written application for withdrawal must be submitted by the parent/guardian to the Principal.
- All outstanding dues must be cleared before issuing the Transfer Certificate (TC).
- School property, including library books and other materials, must be returned.
- The Transfer Certificate and other relevant documents will be issued after completing all formalities.
The school reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time in accordance with the guidelines of the education authorities and the school's regulations.
