Sports
- Super Senior Football Team won the district level match and participated in the State Level organised by Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu.
- The Senior Football Team won the Zonals Level organised by the Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu.
- The Junior Football Team won the Zonals Level organised by the Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu.
- Arti Sotra of Class X bagged the first place in 5000m and 300m race organised by Zonal level-organized by the Dept. of School Education.
Extra Curricular activities
- Nine students participated in ‘Let’s Code’- an inter school competition conducted by KGISL Institute of Technology on “Coding Literacy”. The school became a part of the Limca Book of World Records and won the Kingdom of God award.
- G.S. Nithyasree of grade VII secured 9th Rank on the state Level in General Knowledge at Indian Talent Exam. MJC has produced winners in this competition for the third consecutive year.
- Simran Shub participated in the English Essay writing competition organised by URAM Foundation – Valarum Vithai and won the 1st Prize.
- Sangita Nayak participated in the Drawing Competition organised by URAM Foundation – Valarum Vithai and won the 1st Prize.
- Jharna Thapa won the National Level Consolation prize for painting under the junior category organised by Petroleum Conservation Research Association and won a cash prize of Rs. 5000.
- Dakshatha Ramkumar participated in the Asiatic Karate Championship -2018 and won the 3rd Prize.
